"No bugs, no pesticides, and no dirt!" Those are my favorite toppings, they must taste bland! That's a pretty cool way to grow vegies indoors. Where did you get it?

I can't even grow them in the summer
and trust me I have tried every way, oh well that's how the local produce stand stays in business.
That's kinda cool Susie. I wonder how they taste?

LOL I figure I've ingested enough of those toppings from the store bought produce. This little machine is called an Aerogarden. I bought this machine from www.aerogarden.com but acquired three more machines from craigslist for almost nothing.

It it can't be fixed with glue and sawdust - it's not worth fixing.
I know what you mean. Here in Oregon we often have a short growing season. These machines produce just the right amount of light.

I know about the short seasons there, I was raised in Bremerton, wa. about an hour or so outside of seattle. Mom has lived there all her life and still complains about the short summers !!!!

Now that is pretty cool Sue, I have never seen anything like that. Hmmmmm, those would make great Christmas gifts. Now about the price, gotta figure that out. Thanks for showing off your toms, there is nothing like fresh cherry toms, they are sweet!

They taste great! We had many in our salad last week! Aerogarden offers seed kits, but I buy my own seeds.

You can go to www.aerogarden.com and check out the different machines. The 3 pod is on sale right now for under $50.00. I bought my first machine (the one pictured) from aerogardens and picked up three more from craigslist for almost nothing. They are expensive if you buy retail. I have lemon cucumbers growing in my 3 pod right now. We have leaf lettuce and tomatoes year round. :) You can buy their seed packs or buy your own seeds, which is what I do.

So is it guaranteed to grow them? The only way I get a green thumb is with paint!
Pretty neat. Now I am ready for lunch.
