I have a pepper grinder that I need a piece of wood for. The dimensions needed are 3x3x4"L.
If any of you have cutoffs of 3x3 that are at least 4" long I'd like to talk to you about at least 1 piece.
I'm off to the docs office for a checkup I'll be back later.
Thanks

That's cute. Where'd ya get it?
Want a piece of Siberian Elm?

Hi Cliff, I got it at Penn State Industries, here's the link to it http://www.pennstateind.com/store/PKGRIND-4.html
it's on sale at the moment for a slightly lower price. Some have reported making as much as 5x what they put into making the grinder at craft shows.

Do you have a preference?

Something good looking that will hold up to wood screws and not strip out, there are 2 small ones in the kit. Other than that no real preference.

I checked my lumber rack- don't have anything that thick. Could glue up some stuff.

I was sitting here a little while ago thinking that very thing. I will see what I have that is big enough and try that

Siberian Elm is a wonderful wood to turn into vases, bowls, and platters. Do you know where I can get a Tree

Do you know where I can get a Tree
I cut 5 of them down recently, had to be better than 100 years old
I got the best parts of them in my shop. One more to go.
The wood seasons up quickly and resists checking. I've seasoned whole logs no problem

Send some of that my way LOL j/k
