Very nice turning. Looks like you are getting those walls thinner which is good. Bottom looks good and the finish is nice and soft.

thank you, it was an interesting project the finish is the bee's wax and mineral oil stuff you gave me. I need to get a hollowing tool. I'm using short metal turning tool and I have to be extreamely light handed with it or what I'm turning will split even with thicker walls.

I need to talk a look at those tools and see what you have in there that will work.

Looking good Adam, I think the comments on the walls being thinner is right on. Too often I have seen turnings where the walls of the vessel just seem way to thick and bulky looking. Yours turned out great with good proportions.

Adam,

Very nice job!  Really like the grain.  Sure it's not a shot glass?

Cool!

Love the thin walls! Is that yellow pine?

Sorry it's taken me so long to post. Been a busy bee lately. Anyway, yes I do believe that it is yellow pine. Thank you all for the comments. I'll be starting a new discussion soon with all my latest projects.
