I'm a bit curious.  There are lots of folks here that build and sell.  Charles Nichols turns pens and sells,  John Moody sells cutting boards (et al) but I'm wondering what everyone is making and selling in this stubborn economy.  I'll start it off.  I make flag cases, pocket watch displays and a few shadow boxes.  Usually I sell on ebay but I prefer local shows because ebay fees are getting out of hand.  Here's a couple of flag cases I sell.  One oak and one cherry.

So, whatcha selling?

I feel your pain Roy.  My problem is that my wife has too many relatives.  I either make something for cost or give it away.  Maybe I'll reach a saturation point someday.

I'd like to sell some stuff.  I have sold a few cutting boards, a small table, and some other stuff.  Generally when I make something and my wife sees it she immediately thinks of someone that she wants to give it away to.  I tried a few craft shows before Christmas, and sold a couple things, but my bin is pretty much empty now, she's given it all away.  This remodel project has me all tied up now, hopefully someday I'll get a shop set up again and be able to make some more stuff.

I have given very few things away. That is the problem and not that I wouldn't like to, but where do you stop. You end up hurting someones feelings because they didn't get one and someone else did.

It is hard to give it away if you are going to try to sell it. If you aren't into the craft shows and selling it, then there is nothing better than to be able to give it to people.

Good night tonight.  I came home from my grand-daughter's ball game and found an order for two Cherry pocket watch displays.
