Well I thought it's about time to put another great addition of my old WorkBench collection of magazines. You all know the drill, I have inquired with the new WorkBench and they don't care if I post these old articles and plans, the company that owned this mag in its heyday is long gone.

So without further ado, here is the May June issue of 1965. Feel free to browse the table of contents and request any articles or projects you'd like me to scan and post here. I'll scan them in PDF so you can download it to your desktop. For now though I'll start yall out with some plans for a Pole Screen and Candle Stand. A really cool colonial piece.

Thanks John,
I have a friend that is going to need a cradle in a few months so I'm looking for plans.

There is allot to be desired with these plans Mark, they are not for the faint at heart. As you can see, the plans back in the day assumed the woodworker had a set of skills already in place, and they could build with the basic dimensions etc. For example, in the cradle plans, today's plans from our favorite plan brokers would tell you how to turn those spindles. The plans here assume you know how to turn and what tools are used. But, I love em. Someday I think it would be cool to do a series of projects using these old plans and do the build along here.

Hey Mark; Take a look at the plans over at Wood Magazine. I've made two, so far, of the pedulium cradle for a grandson and great-grandson. Plans were easy to follow and there's a supplier for the wood.
