Today's farmers now have combines with different heads on them for picking corn to combining oats, wheat and soy beans however back in the days of the not so modern farmer they had to have sheds and or cribs to store things and a corn crib was erected to store ears of corn on the cob so they could be later ground up to mix into the feed or just toss a couple of ears into the hog pen and let the hogs have a feast.

Once you have a barn closed in and under roof one would want to include windows, (if needed) such as in horse stalls or cattle loafing areas so they can be slid open for cross ventilation. Installing windows is an easy thing to do for you can make up the windows with as many sections of glass as needed for the effect of allowing an certain amount of light in the stalls or loafing areas. Once the perlings are installed the next thing is the placing ot the vertical siding on the structure especially if it is a barn.
