This was a great lesson learned for me. Thanks to guys that answered a post in the forums. So I thought I would share this with all of you. After receiving many replies and doing some research I purchased The Veritas MK II sharping guide. Read the instructions a few times and tonight tried it out in the shop. Also, small world I guess. When I talked to a guy from Senco about parts for my late 80's SKS (the nail gun, not soviet era rifle), he said he has done sets ands props for his kids schools for a while. Keep it up if you can, the kids need experienced people showing them the way to safe woodworking. I'm college educated and feel like the crafts have been devalued in the rush to success.
