Hi Mike,
I use two different techniques for chip carving. First the traditional if I'm carving the crosses on my website. Second I use a signature method of free-form that I have developed to carve the wildflowers that I do. I also do some relief and in-the-round but, boy you just can't find time to do it all; some of the ideas have to stay tucked away.
Do you build furniture? Have you ever tried to carve on furniture if you build it?
Darrell
