The Shriner's have a Peanut Boil every year in a small town in South Alabama, Luverne. It is advertised as the largest peanut boil in the world. Last week beginning on Wednesday they began boiling them and My wife and our 2 daughters and Father in law and grandson helped this year. There were a total of 24 TONs of peanuts boiled and all of them were sold. This is a good fund raiser for the Shriner's. We met some of them from Montgomery and also from South Carolina. This is my first post on blog. I wanted to let you all know about a project i got involved in back in Feb. of this year. I had the honor of being invited to a TAT (Turn A Thon) at the woodshop on the Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville. There are volunteers that meet once a month and turn pens for our troops. There are those that turn pens, put them together, and unbag kits. They meet one day a month, on Sunday, and begin at 10:00 am and end just whenever. The gentleman over this project is named…
