Arlin requested detail info on my clamping jig I used on several cutting boards. So here it is. The base is made from MDF that is glued together and the top sheet is covered with heavy duty packing tape (don't use the cheep stuff). The two runners on each end is maple and is held on place with 1/4" bolts & "T" nuts that are relieved into the bottom MDF sheet and bolts sized to not protrude below the bottom surface. The rest is shown in the pictures (see the dimensions in the pics). If you have questions I'll be happy to share.

That is very cool Mike, I wonder if John Moody has see this yet?

Any fear of over tightening and busting loos the end pieces that hold screws and the opposite as well? But it looks like you got the pieces secured with bolts or big screws, that answered my own question.
